  • BABY BATHTUB. If your baby is too big for the infant tub but too small for your bathroom tub, buy a 10-gallon plastic storage tub and a rubber bath mat with tiny suction cups. For about $5 your baby won’t slip and fall, but will be able to splash and play and have a great time. This size “tub” should last a few years, and when Baby has outgrown it, you have an instant storage bin. Just remember to stash the lid in a place you won’t forget! — Beth

edge of the tub with the suction cups pointing up ..

I have also had a tub reglazed and got the same warning about not using suction cup bathmats...and as everyone else has discovered there are no bathtub mats without suction cups. I am not having another tub spray painted...what a scam. But I guess I will try a cheap rubber mat with the suction cup side up. I will sit on the tub and move my feet around to see if it slips and take it very easy at first.
